I am filled with gratitude, joy, and peace for the stand that members of the Susie King Taylor Women's Institute and Ecology Center, Coastal Black Women's Ocean Memory and Conservation Collective, Beyond Trident, and Nuclear Watch South took to demonstrate that nuclear weapons are illegal, an affront to life, the environment, and all of Creation including the North Atlantic Right Whales who calve in the warmer waters of the southeast coast of the United States (GA, FL, SC).

On January 22, 2021 we stood in unity with other anti-nuclear weapons, Earth-keepers and Creation Justice activists, and eco-advocates around the world to celebrate the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons! Fifty nations have made a declaration for love and life and not war. We hope and pray that the United States will invest in the human race and withdraw from the nuclear arms race.
